Hi 👋 I’m Marco. I run Elevate North, a digital studio in Newcastle. I get to know your business first, then build websites that get results. Then I stick around after launch too. If your business needs better tech, message me or email marco@elevatenorth.studio

Two problems I see all the time on small business websites Unclear content above the fold. You get about 5 seconds to show people what you do and who it’s for. If they can’t tell, they leave. No social proof. No reviews or case studies or real faces. If people can’t see that others trust you, they won’t either. Quick fix for both: say what you do in one clear line at the top and put a photo of yourself on the page. A real face cuts through the noise and people trust it. See how we helped Affairs of the Harp (link in bio)

Turned down a client recently. He had a huge spec, built for tens of thousands of users. Problem was he didn’t have a single user yet. He thought if the tech was good enough people would just show up. But that’s not how it works. I could’ve taken the money and just built it. Instead I told him to build a smaller version first, get real users on it and learn from them. Because the second real users show up, everything changes. What you thought you needed to build isn’t what they actually need. If I’d built his big version he’d have ended up with a smaller bank account and a product he’d have to make massive changes to and rebuild anyway. Waste of his money and our time. Building is easy. Knowing what to build or NOT build is hard. If you’re a founder trying to build something users love, not just a useless spec get in touch

I’ve got tools in my shed, doesn’t mean I can fix my car with it. Same goes for AI websites and builders. I see business owners try this all the time. Most of it doesn’t work, because there’s no strategy or thought behind it, it looks generic (like all the other Ai sites) and it doesnt convert. If you want a site that actually brings you business, hire someone who knows what they’re doing. BTW, we know what we’re doing.

Got 99 problems, but replying to a client isn’t one. Feels like a small thing. It’s not. It’s the main reason clients stick around. You call, we answer. You email, we reply. Same day. If your web team’s gone quiet lately, get in touch.

Reduce friction and confusion for your users. A client site I looked at last week had huge blocks of text and no clear button anywhere. People scan, they don’t read. If they can’t find the next step fast they leave. Less info, clearer path, more conversions.
